How To Multitask Like Taylor Swift

It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift is one of the most uplifting and inspiring people of our time.

She always seems to be at work, bringing out hit after hit and going on long tours across the globe to perform. At the same time, she looks very fit and healthy.

To be honest, it wouldn’t even surprise me if there were more than one of her because I can’t comprehend how she does all of those things successfully at the same time.

So, what is her secret to accomplishing everything so effectively? And how can we learn from her example to improve our own productivity?

Clear Boundaries

Since her early years, Taylor has been extremely strict with herself.

She remains steadfast and unwavering, maintaining her priorities and unwavering focus even in challenging times (remember how difficult this time must have been after the edited phone call between her and Ye was leaked).

If you want to follow Taylor’s success, it’s important to focus on your key priorities and strive for consistency and a strong work ethic.

Keep pushing forward and stay committed to your goals. Prioritising tasks and identifying the ones marked as super important is absolutely essential.

Even when you’re tired or missing enthusiasm, you must push through and complete your important tasks.

Remember: tomorrow is a new day to tackle the rest that was not on the ‘super important’ list! I promise you that once you’ve kept going even when it wasn’t fun, you’ll be so happy and proud of yourself. It is not easy, but Taylor consistently demonstrates that it is doable.

Every Day Matters

Taylor, too, requires and takes breaks, but she uses this time to accomplish something that is both beneficial and enjoyable.

It was mentioned before in interviews that she loves chilling out with her cats while writing music or planning upcoming projects. She enjoys these moments and performs duties, but she chooses chores that make her feel satisfied and calm.

Discover the things that bring you joy and push you towards a brighter future.

Engage in a variety of activities such as reading, watching a documentary, listening to audiobooks, journaling, and writing your to-do list for tomorrow. These activities can help you stay active and productive without feeling stressed out. Win-win!

Remember Why You Started

Taylor has often stated her motivation for initially taking up music-making. She has a deep passion for storytelling and draws immense inspiration from country music.

She was incredibly driven and determined from a young age, knowing exactly what she wanted and putting in immense effort to achieve it.

When you find yourself on the verge of giving up or losing focus, it’s important to take a step back and give yourself a well-deserved break.

Allow yourself a day of self-care and reflect on the reasons that motivated you to start in the first place. Remember, it is okay to experience moments of fatigue, but the key is to stay positive and keep pushing forward.

You wouldn’t be where you are today unless you had a strong drive or a dream that inspired you to pursue this concept. If it has motivated you this much, it is worthwhile to pursue.

Keep Improving Your Work Ethics

Without a doubt, this is the most difficult aspect.

Having strong work ethics is absolutely essential. In some ways, it can be fun, but when you get tired or have other things to do that conflict with your goals, it all gets so messy and hard that you don’t even want to get up in the morning.

You turn off the alarm without even knowing it because your body doesn’t want to hear it, but this is where you need to get out of bed and splash your face with cold water. It is difficult in the first few minutes, but you can do it.

If Taylor had not gotten up when she was extremely weary, worked when she didn’t feel like it, slept when she was fully awake due to her schedule, and so on, she would not be where she is now.

It’s important to follow certain guidelines for maintaining a strong work ethic and being disciplined with yourself (as discussed in part 1 of our advice board).
